Visitors can start their tour with the historical Ita Fort built in the 14<sup>th<\/sup> century. The fort is famous for its irregular shape and structure. It is also a famous Buddhist pilgrimage center. From this Monastery one can get a rare view of the town. The Jawaharlal Nehru Museum attributed to promote opulent textiles and handicraft made by the artisans of Itanagar is also among the famous spots in the city.
